This year we are bringing back the Ki:him, a community village where cultural demonstrations and presentations will take place, providing guests with hands on access to everyday activities past and present and opportunities to interact and learn about the culture through storytelling, music, song, dance, games and native foods. Ki:him is the O’odham word for community village. While representatives of the four Southern communities of the O’odham people, descendants of the ancient Hohokam will be participating in the Ki:him, there will also be artists and representatives from various other tribes participating in the community village as well.
